Fall feels like it's finally begun. It's not in full swing yet but it's started and I'm over the moon about it.

Random books, both ones I'm currently reading and ones that are on my ridiculously long list...

Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke

The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

Clue (1985)

The Secret Garden (1993)

My sister being an aesthetic xfiles inspired silhouette

There's whatever the heck I'm doing

My general vibe while taking photos

I've been trying to sort of pull together some fall outfits and look aesthetic. I seemed to have missed the girl gene where I can just naturally seem good at doing that. But I'm trying to work something out.

Sorry for such a messy and terrible quality post,
I was trying to go for aesthetically clunky.

I'd promise the next post is going to be more aesthetic but we'll see... I'm just a little disorganized.
But anyways, Happy first day of Fall officially!

Sheer Decadence

It has been a long running dream of Skye's to eat a proper French Macron and then she found a cute French Pastry shop around so we went. I'm very grateful to her, eating macrons was a whole experience. Proper macrons taste as stunning as they look and we ate a whole bag between us sitting in a parking lot.

Because of aesthetics, we came back another day for more so we could eat macrons while we watched the Marie Antoinette movie starring Kirsten Dunst. The movie was stunning and decadent and funny and it was just gorgeous really.

Another gorgeous movie is Wes Anderson's 'Grand Budapest Hotel'
It's hilarious as well and it reminded me of Series of Unfortunate Event's in it's quirky, quick-paced humour.

One that just deserves to be on this list is the new Emma (2020)
I clearly am not, and never will be, over this movie

If you're looking for movies that look like macrons these are them

Wishing On Sunflowers

My mom planted a few sunflower seeds earlier this summer and I've anxiously but excitedly been waiting for them to grow. Anxiously only because we are terrible at keeping plants alive. Never wrap seasonal feelings of closure around a plant blooming; it's stressful.

I had a ridiculous amount of emotions tied up in this sunflower and it bloomed and it's pretty and everything I wanted it to be.

Special thanks to my sister who gave me a hand doing this and almost died tripping over a bucket in the dark and landing face first. She was completely fine. It was more funny than anything which sounds terrible but normally it's me falling over something.

Originally I wanted to pair the sunflower with white fairy-lights but I couldn't find any. I actually prefer the coloured lights in hindsight.
